Our season begins with the musical that started it all - and the author
Shelley Russell returns to direct Beacon on the Rock! A musical
celebration of our diverse heritage, this is a story about the people who
came to this isolated region and found a way to survive. You will laugh,
cry and love with these families who left their homelands to carve out a
home from unforgiving wilderness. And you will marvel at their courage and
vision and hopefully talk about your heritage.
Our next adventure is the prequel
to Escanaba in the Moonlight....Escanaba in Love by Jeff Daniels.
Visit the Soady deer camp in the midst of World War II, forty years before
the original.
Meet the love of young Albert Soady Jr.’s life, Big Betty Baloo -
the woman destined to become the mother of Reuben and Remnar Soady -
along with a whole new cast of wacky Yoopers. A terrific warm comedy you
will love~
